WINNERS: 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards

We Love Soaps in Association with The SFN presented The 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards on Tuesday, February 21 in a ceremony held in New York City. The Indie Soap Awards, or ISAs, strive to honor the very best in scripted, serialized programming for the web. This year, the nominees in several categories were divided into comedy and drama.

RAGGED ISLE, named Best Web Series (Drama) and PRETTY, named Best Web Series (Comedy), each took home three awards. This year's Indie Soap Award statue was custom designed by artist Armando Ramirez.

The indie web series world packed a theater at New World Stages and the show featured a special original song performance by Colleen Zenk, amazing clip packages of the nominated shows and a bubble-filled surprise ending. Most importantly it celebrated the people who are leading the evolution of a medium.

For those who were not able to attend, The SFN is exclusively broacasting the ceremony on March 18. There were laughs, there were tears, and so much more. This is a show not to be missed. There is a magical spirit in the air for the Indie Soap Awards and our partners at The SFN have captured that for the world to see.
