1981: ANOTHER WORLD debuted its block letter opening, replacing the interlocking rings that had been used since 1966. Watch below.



2007: PASSIONS aired its final episode on NBC. It moved to DirecTV's The 101 Network on September 17 and ran until its finale on August 7, 2008.

  2. Loved AW in the 1980's! There must have been something subliminal in that ethereal, mauvey, hazy, other-worldly opening that lured in teenage viewers at the time: that and the AW stable of studs were very hot!
