1981: ANOTHER WORLD debuted its block letter opening, replacing the interlocking rings that had been used since 1966. Watch below.



2007: PASSIONS aired its final episode on NBC. It moved to DirecTV's The 101 Network on September 17 and ran until its finale on August 7, 2008.

I still miss not seeing AW. It was another one of my favorites!

Loved AW in the 1980's! There must have been something subliminal in that ethereal, mauvey, hazy, other-worldly opening that lured in teenage viewers at the time: that and the AW stable of studs were very hot!
