Ilene Kristen Is "Starr X'd"

We Love Soaps had the privilege of attending a preview at the ONE LIFE TO LIVE studio for many of the musical numbers featured in the exciting "Starr X'd Lovers" event, taking place on the May 14, 17, and 18th episodes.  On hand to speak with us was the wonderfully multi-talented Ilene Kristen, who plays "Roxy", and is featured in a dance number for the Go-Go's, "Our Lips Are Sealed." 

We Love Soaps: Hello, Gorgeous!  I just saw the previews of Starr’s X’d Lovers and was impressed with your spotlight in "Our Lips Are Sealed." How was it to film this?
Ilene Kristen:  It was a lot of fun! There’s always complications.  We didn’t have choreography at first, I added some choreography.  But it was great, it’s an adorable song.  And it was easier lip-syncing.  At first I didn’t think it was what we should do but it worked out great.  It would have taken much longer if we did not lip-sync it. 

We Love Soaps: It’s so great to see Roxy front and center.  Anything you can preview for us about what is coming for Roxy?
Ilene Kristen: You’ll have to ask Ron. 

We Love Soaps: Well, at least we can preview seeing you front and center at our We Love Soaps Weekend. 
Ilene Kristen: Absolutely! Buy tickets.  I will be there, I will be there to talk to people, sign autographs, tell you my whole life story at the drop of a hat.  I usually do, I’ll give you more information than you want to know.
