1968: On Another World, John Randolph (Michael M. Ryan) convinced his daughter, Lee (Barbara Rodell), that he still loved her.
1973: On The Doctors, Dr. Mike Powers (Peter Burnell) continued to pop pills before picking up Penny Davis (Julia Duffy) so they could go watch the eclipse.
1979: On The Edge of Night, Margo (Ann Williams) reminded David he owed her a favor. David later told Draper (Tony Craig) he did not get the job with Seward, Paxton & Whiteside.
1983: On Capitol, Maggie (Julie Parrish) was unhappy when Trey (Nicholas Walker) could not remember who he was with the night before.
1983: On The Edge of Night, Markham kidnapped Jody and Preacher, then held them prisoners at an abandoned shack by the lake.
1984: On Guiding Light, Darcy Dekker (Robin Johnson) held Beth Raines (Judi Evans) and Alexandra Spaulding (Beverlee McKinsey) hostage.
1984: On Santa Barbara, C.C. held a cocktail party where he mistakenly called Mason (Lane Davies) "Channing" during a toast. Meanwhile, Jade Perkins (Melissa Reeves, then Melissa Brennan) lashed out when she was called the little sister of "Killer Perkins".
1985: Michael T. Weiss debuted as Mike Horton in Days of our Lives.
1993: Actor Harry Bellaver, who played Ernie Downs on both Another World and Somerset, died at age 88. He also appeared in Knots Landing as Laura's father.
1994: On All My Children, Erica tried to cope with Mona's death, and told Bianca of her grandmother's death. After Anton and Edmund told Kendall about Mona's death, she became angered and heartbroken when she read Mona's obituary and found her name not included in the list of mourning relatives. Pine Valley residents began arriving to Mona's wake.

1994: On One Life to Live, Rebecca Lewis made her feelings clear to Todd Manning (Roger Howarth)
1994: On General Hospital, an injured Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) was wheeled into the hospital, with Luke (Anthony Geary) by her side. Lesley Lu "Lulu" Spencer was born via an emergency cesarean section.

1997: On All My Children, Transglobal Airline Fight 149 crashed in a mountaintop between Manhattan and Pine Valley. Maria, Maddie, Brooke, Edmund and Jim were revealed to be the only survivors. As Edmund lay unconscious, Brooke and Jim tried to free Maria and Maddie from the mangled debris, perched on side of the mountain. While they were trying to free Maddie first, Maria collapsed from exhaustion.

2001: On The Bold and the Beautiful, Thorne (Winsor Harmon) advised Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) to let go of Ridge, saying it would never work out for them.
2005: Actress Barbara Bel Geddes, best known for playing Miss Ellie on Dallas, died at age 82.
