1962: Ann Flood debuted as Nancy on The Edge of Night.
1983: General Hospital's Jimmy Lee denied having Tolliver's papers.
1991: NBC's primetime Dark Shadows remake ended.
2004: One Life to Live's Paul delivered Babe's baby on All My Children.

On this date in...

1940: NBC's Blue Network aired the final episode of radio soap opera The Affairs of Anthony. Henry Hunter starred as Anthony Marleybone Jr.

1955: On The Inner Flame, Dorie (Jean Gillespie) asked Amelia for money.

1955: On Golden Windows, Carl was ready to tell Julie (Lelia Martin) the truth.

1955: On Valiant Lady, Helen (Flora Campbell, who replaced Helen Wagner in the role) told Mickey to be kind to Bonny.

1955: On Miss Marlowe, gossip spread about Barbara and Mike (Byron Sanders).

1962: Ann Flood debuted on The Edge of Night in the role of Nancy Pollock. Flood would go on to become the longest running actor on Edge of Night, portraying Nancy Pollock Karr for 22 years, 9 months and 6 days.

1966: On Another World, Missy Palmer (Carol Roux) agreed to marry Bill Matthews (Joseph Gallison) in June after they both realized they could only love each other.

1967: Dennis Patrick debuted on Dark Shadows as Jason McGuire.

1968: On The Doctors, Board member Paul Stark (P. Jay Sidney) confided in Dr. Matt Powers (James Pritchett) about his son Edward, a doctor wounded in Vietnam.

1973: On The Doctors, in San Francisco, Dr. Althea Davis (Elizabeth Hubbard) and her ex, Dave Davis (Josef Sommer), hashed out the issues with their daughter, Penny (Julia Duffy).

1982: On Another World, Steve Frame (David Canary) rescued Rachel (Victoria Wydham) and Matthew Cory from Tom Nelson (Steven Culp), who was arrested.



1983: Ariane Munke debuted as Amanda Kirkland on Ryan's Hope.

1983: On General Hospital, Rick (Chris Robinson) operated on Crane Toliver, who had been shot by Robert while trying to escape. Meanwhile, Edward (David Lewis), Alan (Stuart Damon) and Monica (Leslie Charleson) demanded to know what Jimmy Lee (Steve Bond) did with Tolliver's papers. Note: Tolliver survived the surgery but died the next day of a heart attack.



1984: On Days of our Lives, Larry Welch (Andrew Massett) arranged for Hope (Kristian Alfonso) to overhear Diane Parker (DeAnna Robbins) say she was pregnant with Bo's child.

1990: On Santa Barbara, Annie (Sharonlee McLean) showed Laura (Christopher Norris) the gun she found under Laura's bed



1991: On the final episode of NBC's primetime Dark Shadows reboot, Barnabas' vampirism was discovered, and Peter Bradford attempted to save Victoria from being hanged as a witch.



2004: On All My Children, Babe (Alexa Havins) gives birth to A.J. Chandler (then known as Little Adam) with Paul Cramer's (David Tom) help. Later, Paul told his sister, Kelly (Heather Tom), that he had a baby for her.



2004: On One Life to Live, Kelly lied to Kevin as she made plans to leave Llanview to meet up with Paul in Pine Valley, after learning Paul found a baby to replace her stillborn son.

2005: On One Life to Live, Todd (Trevor St. John) climbed out on the ledge and tried to talk Blair (Kassie DePaiva) down.



2011: On The Young and the Restless, Phillip (Thom Bierdz) tried to keep Kay (Jeanne Cooper), Jill (Jess Walton) and Colin (Tristan Rogers) from bickering.
