1979: EON's "Mrs. Corey" kept an eye on Deborah's condition.
1979: ATWT's Lisa & Bob danced while Bennett fumed.
1984: Days' Salem mourned Roman at his wake.
1998: GH's Alan found Tammy next to his dead drug dealer.

On this date in...

1941: On The Story of Mary Marlin, Davey's intended destination was exposed further. An NBC News bulletin, one of the first known casualty reports to come from Pearl Harbor, arrived just before the day's episode of this popular radio soap opera.

1941: On Vic & Sade, Vic (Art Van Harvey), Rush (Bill Idelson), and Uncle Fletcher (Clarence Hartzell) arrive home all at once...just in time to handle a peculiar storage problem.

1941: On One Man's Family, everyone was keeping their feelings about Irene Franklin to themselves.

1956: On The Edge of Night, Larry (Bill Zuckert) attempted to murder Mike Karr (John Larkin).

1977: On One Life to Live, Ed (Al Freeman Jr.) asked Brad (Jameson Parker) to stop by his office. Elsewhere, Will (Anthony George) refused to tell Pat (Jacqueline Courtney) and Paul (Tom Fuccello) about his conversations with Brian.



1978: Leon Mirell, former executive producer of General Hospital, died at age 55.

1979: On As the World Turns, Bennett (Doug Higgins) stormed off at the night-before-the-wedding dinner while Lisa (Eileen Fulton) and Bob (Don Hastings) were dancing. Later at The Willows, Lisa discovered a woman passed out on the floor.



1979: On The Edge of Night, Steve (Denny Albee) found a barely conscious Deborah (Frances Fisher), who had been drugged by "Mrs Corey".



1983: On Capitol, Myrna (Marj Dusay) admitted to Sam (Richard Egan) that she help felt helpless over Fran's (Lana Wood) accusations that she had an illegitimate child with him. Meanwhile, Brenda (Leslie Graves) declared, "I'm must be the only girl in history that has two brothers, one sister, and feels like the only child."



1984: On Days of our Lives, Marlena (Deidre Hall) was furious when Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) showed up at Roman's wake. The actor playing an alive Roman Brady today, Josh Taylor, attended Roman's wake back in 1984 when he was still starring as Chris Kositchek.

1988: On Another World, Rachel (Victoria Wyndham) encouraged Sharlene (Anna Holbrook) to attend the Snowflake Ball.

1990: Dark Shadows actress Joan Bennett, who played Elizabeth Collins Stoddard and several other roles in the series, died at age 80.

1993: On General Hospital, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) gave birth to a baby girl, Serena.  Lucy was the surrogate mother for Scott Baldwin's (Kin Shriner) and his late wife, Dominique.

1998: On General Hospital, Alan (Stuart Damon) arrived at Felicia's room and found an unconscious Tammy (Patricia Healy) in bed next to a dead drug dealer.



2005: Jason Thompson debuted as Patrick Drake on General Hospital.
