The Young and the Restless has sent out casting calls to fill a couple of new contract roles. The top-rated daytime drama is looking for an actress in her early 20s to play Sofia, described as “beautiful, independent and ambitious.”
The show is also casting the part of the “strikingly handsome” Carlos, a good guy in his early 30s.
There's no indication if Sofia and Carlos are related but both roles have an approximate starting date of mid-June.
