For the week ending April 20, The Young and the Restless delivered 4.57 million viewers, the show’s largest weekly audience since the week ending January 19. Y&R is also up +3% versus the same week last year (from 4.46 million).
Storylines featured on Y&R during the week ending April 20 included:
- Nikki, Phyllis, Sharon and Victoria make a pact to cover up J.T.'s death
- Neil Winters returned to Genoa City
- Victor reveals to Nick that J.T. was the one who attacked him and put him in the hospital
- Kyle stole evidence that reveals his father, Jack, is not an Abbott
Y&R, which is also celebrating 29 straight years as daytime's #1 drama, began its winning streak the week of Dec. 26, 1988.
