1975: Serena shot her husband on The Edge of Night.
1999: Guiding Light's Drew disrupted Michelle's trial.
2009: General Hospital featured karaoke night at Jake's.

1942: On Clara, Lu and Em Lu (Dorothy Day) and Em (Harriet Allyn) discussed Christmas presents.

1958: On CBS primetime panel game show To Tell the Truth, panelists Kitty Carlisle, Hy Gardner, Polly Bergen, Jackie Cooper tried to guess which of three women was the real Irna Phillips, Phillips was the creator and writer for As the World Turns at the time, and had written more than 25,000 scripts for radio series, including The Guiding Light.

1964: On Another World, Pat Matthews (Susan Trustman) agreed to see a psychiatrist.

1975: On The Edge of Night's second ABC episode, Serena Faraday (Louise Shaffer) shot her husband, Mark, on the courthouse steps.

1980: Tristan Rogers debuted as Robert Scorpio on General Hospital.

1983: On One Life to Live, David Renaldi (Michael Zaslow) was in the line of fire.



1983: The cast of Another World finished a five-day "Battle of the Soap Stars" against the cast of Search for Tomorrow on the game show Go.



1985: On Days of our Lives, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell), Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) and Miss Peach (Diana Webster) followed a lead on the location of The Pawn.

1986: On Santa Barbara, Cruz Castillo (A Martinez) shot Danny Andrade (Rupert Ravens).



1988: Eileen Davidson aired for the final time to end her first run (1982-1988) as Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless.

1989: On Santa Barbara, Julia Wainwright (Nancy Lee Grahn) made love with Michael Donnelly (Frank Runyeon).

1999: On Guiding Light, Drew Jacobs (Tammy Blanchard) stood up and screamed at Michelle Bauer during Michelle's trial for murdering Ben.



2009: On General Hospital, it was karaoke night at Jake's. Diane Miller belted out "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) performed "Dancing In The Streets," and Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons) sang "Stray Cat Strut."





2010: On One Life to Live, Eddie Ford (John Wesley Shipp) met Clint Buchanan (Jerry verDorn), who bailed him out. Their meeting was interrupted twice, first by Bo Buchanan (Robert S. Wood), who was unaware Eddie was in the house and, second, by Joey Buchanan, who had returned to Llanview. After Joey blithered on about his love life, Clint and Eddie resumed their business.
