Mexican telenovela actor Antonio Medellín died on June 18. In a post on Facebook, actors guild Associación Nacional de Intérpretes (ANDI) confirmed his passing.
"With deep sorrow, the directive counsel the passing away of Antonio Medellín, today in the city of México. He was 75," the statement read. "To his family and friends, we send you a warm-felt hug and our condolences."
Medellín was a seasoned actor that participated in countless telenovelas. His last credit was on Televisa's Tres Veces Ana, where he co-starred opposite Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli.
Prior to that role, Medellín played roles in telenovelas like Lo Imperdonable (2015), Que Te Perdone Dios, Yo No (2015), La Gata (2014), Por Siempre Mi Amor (2013), Porque El Amor Manda (2012), Cuando Me Enamoro, Se Detiene El Tiempo (2010), Mi Pecado (2009), Fuego En La Sangre (2008), Contra Viento y Marea (2005), Barrera De Amor (2005), Rubí (2004), Amarte Es Mi Pecado (2004), Niña Amada Mía (2003), María Belén (2001), Ramona (2000), and many more.
