In addition to special CBS Daytime programming, the network has unveiled a special exhibit, “CBS Daytime #1 For 30 Years,” at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, honoring the five current CBS shows, as well as legacy programs, including As the World Turns and Guiding Light. The exhibit, which runs October 12 – November 27, includes original set pieces, one-of-a-kind memorabilia and interactive elements to give fans a unique, hands-on experience. Also, four consecutive weeks of special panels are planned, featuring talent and producers from the CBS Daytime lineup.

On Tuesday evening, a party was held at the Paley Center to celebrate CBS Daytime and the launch of the exhibit. Check out some photos below featuring stars who appeared on As the World Turns and Guiding Light.

Colleen Zenk joined the cast of As the World Turns as Barbara Ryan in 1978, and played the role until the show's final episode in 2010.
Grant Aleksander joined the cast of Guiding Light in 1982 in the role of Phillip Spaulding.  He played the part on and off until the show's conclusion in 2009..
Elizabeth Hubbard played the role of Lucinda Walsh on As the World Turns from 1984 to 2010.
Martha Byrne took over the role of Lily Walsh on As the World Turns. in 1985, and later played Lily's twin sister, Rose D'Angelo.  She left the series in 2008.
Prior to taking on the role of Michael Baldwin on The Young and the Restless, Christian LeBlanc starred as Kirk McColl on As the World Turns.  When LeBlanc made a return visit to ATWT in 2005, he played Michael, not Kurt.  He also guest-starred as a wedding guest during the final week of Guiding Light.
Lesli Kay pops up from time to time on The Bold and the Beautiful from time to time as Felicia Forrester.  Her first daytime role was Molly Conlan in As the World Turns.
Rebecca Budig is currently starring as Hayden Barnes on General Hospital.  She made her daytime debut on Guiding Light in 1995 in the role of Michelle Bauer.  She later starred as Greenlee Smythe in All My Children.
Before she joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Sharon Collins Newman, Sharon Case played Debbie Simon on As the World Turns.

Hopefully CBS exec Angelica McDaniel, Executive Vice President, Daytime Programs and Syndicated Program Development, CBS Entertainment and CBS Television Distribution, has noticed the buzz As the World Turns and Guiding Light have generated in recent weeks. A revival or reboot on CBS All Access would be one way to capitalize.
