ABC has canceled country music drama Nashville after four seasons, according to Deadline.There had been hope for a Season 5 renewal for Nashville, after production company Lionsgate TV stepped in to hire veteran producers Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick as new showrunners. But apparently that wasn't enough to convince the network to greenlight a fifth season.
Former network chief Paul Lee, one of Nashville‘s strongest supporters, is no longer at ABC.
The May 25 episode will now serve as the series finale.
