1958: On The Edge of Night, Bill (Carl Frank) and Mike (John Larkin) tried to convince Dalton there may be mitigating circumstances in the case, but he insisted on moving forward with the prosecution as quickly as possible.
1967: On Peyton Place, Rita (Patricia Morrow) didn't want Norm (Christopher Connelly) to get involved in the Webber's problems. Meanwhile, Elliot (Tim O'Connor) brought flowers to Constance (Dorthy Malone, who turns 90 today) to celebrate the early opening of the bookstore.
1968: On The Doctors, Martha Allen (Sally Gracie) started her first day of work as a lab assistant at Hope Memorial Hospital.

1976: On Another World, John (Michael M. Ryan) told Pat (Beverly Penberthy) he was foolish to believe they ever shared their lives, and insisted Pat never loved him.
1981: On Another World, Ada advised against it when Rachel explained she and Mac were assisting with Mitch's recovery.
1985: On Search for Tomorrow, after Suzi confronted Brett with the photos, he promised an unconscious Justine that he would get rid of Warren. Meanwhile, Cagney and Jo (Mary Stuart) attempted to solve the mystery of the photos.
1985: On Santa Barbara, Peter (Stephen Meadows) managed to sneak in and out of Kelly's (Robin Wright) apartment without anyone knowing.
1996: On General Hospital, Brenda called Miguel to tell him that Sonny and Lily were getting married. Brenda asked him, "What are we going to do about it?"
2001: On As the World Turns, Joe (Tony Musante) was afraid Holden (Jon Hensley) would break Rose's (Martha Byrne) heart.
2004: On Days of our Lives, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) "died" following the tiger attack.
2007: On All My Children, Dixie (Cady McClain) died after eating pancakes poisoned by the Satin Slayer.
2009: On All My Children, Kendall (Alicia Minshew) woke up from a coma.
2014: Billy Miller aired for the final time as Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless. Michael Muhney made his final appearance as well in the role Adam Newman. In the episode, Billy had discovered Adam was responsible for Delia's death and was holding him at gunpoint. After visiting Delia's grave, they were riding in Adam's SUV when Adam reached for the gun, which went off causing the SUV to crash. Since Miller's departure, Billy has been played by David Tom, Burgess Jenkins and now Jason Thompson. Adam is now played by Justin Hartley.

This episode from AW in 1976 is what prompted my deaire to write. John's speech to Pat was so profund. There really was nothing for Pat to say.
