1976: On Days of our Lives, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Olson (Susan Seaforth Hayes) were married.

Below are Doug and Julie's vows:

Bill and Susan Seaforth Hayes as Doug and Julie
Williams on Days of our Lives.
Doug: God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them, and He blessed them.
Julie: And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helpmeet for him.
Doug: Rise up, my love, my fair one and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vine with the tender grape give a good fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
Julie: Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee; for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge; thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God. Where thou diest, I will die, and there will I be buried; the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
