Alison Sweeney Back to Work at 'Days of our Lives'

After a nearly year since she shot her final episode as Sami Brady, Alison Sweeney reported back to work Wednesday at Days of our Lives.

Deidre Hall--who plays Sami's mother, Marlena--posted a photo with Sweeney on Facebook, and captioned it, "Some days are better than others. And some days are utterly joyous! Today is such a day.”

Days has not revealed how many episodes Sweeney will appear in as the show approaches its 50th anniversary in November.

Sweeney starred in Murder, She Baked: A Chocolate Chip Cookie Mystery, a Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Original World Premiere movie on Saturday, May 2. The movie debuted to record ratings for the network.

She has also been in production in Vancouver on Radio Hype, a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere movie she executive produces and stars in alongside Jonathan Scarfe.
