Former GENERAL HOSPITAL star Nathan Parsons will take over the series regular role of James on TRUE BLOOD, a character previously played by Luke Grimes. TVLine first reported the news.
Grimes asked to be released from his TRUE BLOOD contract due to the creative direction of his brooding, soulful, vampire character.
When the HBO drama returns with its seventh and final season this summer, James will find himself at the center of a surprising love triangle.
Aside from making a return appearance on GENERAL HOSPITAL in 2013 as Luke Spencer's son, Ethan Lovett, Parsons also guest-starred in several episodes of ABC Family's BUNHEADS.
As a fan of his on GH....I think he's a great recast!
