NEWS: Billy Miller, Eric Braeden, Eden Riegel, Maura West, Kristolyn Lloyd, David Tutera

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS star Eric Braeden and GENERAL HOSPITAL's Maura West Deny Online Rumors
After rumors flared up online in the wake of Michael Muhney's Y&R ouster as Adam that his TV father, Eric Braeden (Victor), was responsible for Maura West's (Ava, GH) 2010 firing from the role of Diane, both Braeden and West weighed in on Twitter. "implying I had to do with MWest's departure is libelous!!" huffed Braeden. Echoed West, "Absolutely NOT. Not in any way, shape or form. Have no idea why my name is involved in ANY of it."

Billy Miller: 'I was made a generous offer to stay' at Y&R
"I was made a generous offer to stay," he says. "To pass was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I was caught between a rock and a hard place … In the past, we were able to venture out of the Y&R world; now it seems there is no longer that flexibility for me." Of his contract negotiations, he offers, "we clearly came to a standstill."

David Tutera to guest star on Y&R
The famed designer and host of WE's MY FAIR WEDDING WITH DAVID TUTERA will guest star on two episodes of The Young and the Restless where he'll help create dream nuptials for a certain couple. Will it be Neil and Leslie? Dylan and Avery? Tyler and Abby?

Eden Riegel has second son (Henry Isaac Miller)
ALL MY CHILDREN star Eden Riegel (ex-Bianca) and her husband, Andrew Miller, are the proud parents of their second son, Henry Isaac Miller. "born today! 9:23am, 9lbs 1oz," tweeted Riegel, who also shared an adorable snapshot of her newborn. He joins big brother Jack Oscar Miller, who was born on May 21, 2011.

Kristolyn Lloyd taking a break from the role of Dayzee on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
“She’s going to do theater in Boston and New York,” reports a show spokesperson. “She is still recurring.” The actress broke the news on her Twitter page earlier this week, adding today on her way out of town, “Goodbye Los Angeles! I'll miss your warm summer days in the Winter and your beautiful city lights! Let's not be strangers...”

Katie Couric’s Talk Show Canceled
The show will continue production until June 2014, Deadline reports, and the show’s cancellation was not a surprise, given its rocky ratings in the first two seasons. The show also suffered an identity crisis as it tried to marry hard-hitting news interviews with lighter daytime talk show fare.

“We’re very proud of everyone’s contributions to making KATIE the #1 new syndicated talk show of 2012-2013, and we look forward to the rest of the season,” ABC and Katie Couric said in a joint statement.

  1. Billy Miller had to have burst the bubbles of people looking for someone to blame for his departure. No offense but many soap fans seem to forget that behind the character on the show is an actor who is looking to make the best decisions for his career. He wants to move on and I don't understand why some fans can't make peace with this. The online tantrums that I've seen in the wake of the announcement have left me SMH. Actors have been leaving soaps for generations, it's a part of a creative life.
