  1. I had the unique privilege to, actually, visit the site of the climatic finale of the Keith Whitney/Jonah Lockwood storyline on 'The Edge of Night' (Aug 1970-Dec 1971) I had promised myself, from the time I saw the Tower that I would, someday visit the site. With the help of Bruce Martin (Keith Whitney/Jonah Lockwood) and my aunt, I fulfilled a 40 year old promise (July 2012) I would be more than happy to send you the photo of the Tower. I don't have a printer or scanner attached to my computer. i would, either have to postal mail it to you or have a friend help me with scanning and e-mailing it to the proper e-mail address. I, also, would be happy to send you the text of my remarks.

  2. I remember that scene on "The Edge of Night" like it was yesterday. I miss the soaps like EON and "Love of Life" and "Search for Tomorrow", etc.

  3. nothing like the old days of daytime drama

  4. Lois Kibbee as Geraldine Whitney. I still miss the Edge of Night.

  5. The Keith Whitney/Jonah Lockwood storyline is what got me into Edge of Night as a very small boy. Came across the show while switching channels after Another World was over and was quite fascinated. Couldn't understand why Geraldine was calling him Keith and everyone else was calling him Jonah. So, I kept watching to find out and got hooked.

I still miss Edge of Night, even now 29 years later.

  6. I too, still miss The Edge of Night. Never liked the shortened version without ''THE''. Lois Kibbee was simply amazing as was much of the cast. Watched from 1974-1984.
