X-FACTOR - Sharon is back, can she win it?

X-FACTOR - Sharon is back, can she win it?

Sharon Osbourne is back on THE X FACTOR this year and is more determined than ever to win this year’s contest. She is the mentor of the over 25’s, the least favourite group of the show. Despite this, Sharon is eager to win and she might just get her wish!

What are her chances?

Sharon clearly wants to win the X FACTOR this year and even said it herself back in August. Will her determination pay off as she competes against fellow judges, Nicole Scherzinger, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh for the first place? The chances of Sharon winning the show seem relatively good as the 60year old has Sam Bailey in her category who is the third favourite to win this year’s series. 35 year old Sam is a prison officer from Leicester, she wowed judges with her first audition and since then has become one of the most talented singers in this year’s competition. Her odds of winning the show are 5/1 and she is the favourite in many households across the UK. Can she win it for Sharon? Time will tell as the week’s progress the competition will grow tougher and tougher.

All the judges have brilliant acts in their categories, but the Over 25s is often seen as the least favourable and has overall bookies odds of 11/2 for the winner to be in that category. Thousands of people tune into the show every week for their X FACTOR fix as well as catching up on the latest news from the show throughout the week and playing the X FACTOR themed games such as: X FACTOR slot and the exclusive X FACTOR Scratch.

Is This Her Year?

Unfortunately, Sharon has never won before so this has got to be her lucky year, right? She is clearly one of the favourite judges having left the show in 2008 because of an apparent dispute with fellow judge at the time, Danni Minogue. Since Simon left the UK judging panel, ratings steadily dropped as people soon lost interest in the talent show. In hopes of boosting the show’s ratings, Simon Cowell, the creator of the X FACTOR, invited Sharon back onto the panel and sure enough, her presence on the show has brought more interest…but is it enough to give her this year’s winning crown?
