- READER POLL: Soap of the Week (September 2-6, 2013)
I see no reason to grow up the young children to rediculous ages. For example Kyle from 9 to drinking age. Maybe they could grow 2 years at a time, but 5 to 10 years is confusing. You don't even get to know the character. Abby is another confusing person. The "old" Abby was short, this one is tall. Donna Liston
ReplyDeleteI loved the old Abby...not so much the new Abby!
ReplyDeleteI wish they would allow the children to grow as much as possible as they would naturally. One of the issues is that viewers know the families from years of watching, however there are new writers and that causes problems---we the viewers know more than the writers themselves. This new Abby is not great and finally the present Summer is growing on me, but she is not that great of actress. Also, when Kyle reentered the picture they had changed his name.
ReplyDeleteI truly believe the reason some storylines are so ridiculously long is because the writers do not know the history of the story.
And Summer should be Jack and Phyllis.
Hopefully, the writers will NOT replace the Phyllis who just left----they have tried to replac Lilly, Summer, Abby, Colleen etc and it was a failure
