Soap fans have loved actress Cady McClain for decades thanks to her masterful portrayal of two very different characters: ALL MY CHILDREN's Dixie Cooney Martin and AS THE WORLD TURNS' Rosanna Cabot. She won Emmy Awards for her work on both shows.
In recent years, McClain has expanded her horizons as a writer and we've seen her work appear in places such as Parade.com in addition to her own website.
In 2012, she worked as an associate producer on the multi-festival award-winning film How We Got Away With It. She was involved in every step of the filmmaking process, from inception to color and sound edit to festival submission and sales.
McClain has branched out once again making her directorial debut with Flip Fantasia, a short film "about love, about death, about real people, flawed people, hurt people, young people.. but mostly about love." She also wrote the script!
The film can now be viewed on line. Watch it here (or here with Spanish subtitles).
McClain (@CadyMcClain) is live-tweeting with fans about the film using hashtag #WatchingFlip on Tuesday, September 17 from 3-4 p.m. ET (12-1 p.m. PT).
