Univision Reaches 7.6 Million Viewers Sunday Night With the Grand Finale of AMORES VERDADEROS

Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America, today announced that the two-hour grand finale of hit telenovela AMORES VERDADEROS (True Love) reached 7.6 million Total Viewers 2+, who tuned in to all or part of the grand finale and drove Univision to the No. 1 broadcast network ranking last night among Adults 18-49 and No. 2 among Adults 18-34. The finale delivered an average audience of 5.2 million viewers, making Univision the No. 2 broadcast network for the entire night among Persons 2+, ahead of ABC, NBC and FOX.

Throughout its full-run, AMORES VERDADEROS – which premiered in November 2012 – averaged 4.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.4 million Adults 18-49, 1.2 million Adults 18-34, 1.5 million Persons 12-34, 1.5 million Women 18-49 and 968,000 Men 18-49. As the network’s highest-rated primetime series this season, it also ranked within the top 20 primetime novelas of all time on Univision (since Nielsen measurement began in 1992) among Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 as well as top 50 among Adults 18-34.

Replacing AMORES VERDADEROS in the 9 p.m. slot beginning tonight, Monday, July 29, is LA TEMPESTAD (The Storm), marking the return to TV drama of heartthrob star William Levy (DANCING WITH THE STARS, SORTILEGIO, TRIUNFO DEL AMOR) and former Miss Universe Ximena Navarrete.

The two-hour finale of AMORES VERDADEROS on the Univision Network:

· Delivered 5.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 million Persons 12-34, 1.2 million Adults 18-34, 2.6 million Adults 18-49, 1.0 million Men 18-49 and 1.6 million Women 18-49.

· In the time period (8 p.m. to 10 p.m.), made Univision the:
o #1 Broadcast Network among Persons 12-34, Adults 18-34, Adults 18-49, Men 18-49 and Women 18-49
o #2 Broadcast Network (behind CBS) among Viewers 2+

· Increased its audience in the second-hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+13%), Persons 12-34 (+11%), Adults 18-34 (+11%), Adults 18-49 (+13%), Men 18-49 (+13%) and Women 18-49 (+13%).

· Averaged more Adult 18-49 viewers than first-run episodes of ABC’s CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP and “Whodunnit,” CBS’ 60 MINUTES and UNFORGETTABLE, and NBC’s CROSSING LINES.

· Was the top-rated program on all of broadcast television among Adults 18-34 and the fourth most-watched across all Viewers 2+.

During the Sunday 8-10p.m. time period, AMORES VERDADEROS on Univision stations had higher viewership than the ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX stations combined in the following markets:
· In Los Angeles among Adults 18-49 and Adults18-34
· In Miami and Houston among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34
