TRUE BLOOD Preview: "**** the Pain Away"

The sixth season of TRUE BLOOD continues on Sunday, July 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.

In the episode, titled "**** the Pain Away," seeking more answers about her past, Sookie (Anna Paquin) enlists Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) to summon her dead parents. Meanwhile, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Tara (Rutina Wesley) resort to drastic measures when Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) finds herself in dangerous territory. Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) reconnects with Jason (Ryan Kwanten) as Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) seeks atonement.

Based on the popular Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris, the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning hit series was created by Alan Ball, creator of HBO's Emmy-winning series Six Feet Under. The show follows waitress and part-faerie Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), who can hear people's thoughts, vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and vampire Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard).
