1940: Actor Christopher Bernau was born. Known for his roles on THE GUIDING LIGHT and DARK SHADOWS, Bernau died in 1989 at age 49.
1969: The final episode of primetime soap opera PEYTON PLACE aired on ABC. Dr. Michael Rossi (Ed Nelson) was charged with murder and thrown into the local jail. There were 514 episodes of PEYTON PLACE in total.
1972: On ANOTHER WORLD, Rachel (Robin Strasser) and Steve (George Reinholt) spent time with Jamie. Alice (Jacqueline Courtney) thought Steve was in Somerset.
1980: On THE EDGE OF NIGHT, Raven (Sharon Gabet) grabbed her letter from April and dropped it off the balcony.
1995: On ONE LIFE TO LIVE, Bo (Robert S. Woods) and Nora (Hillary B. Smith) objected at the their own wedding.
