1966: The very first scenes for DARK SHADOWS were taped.

1982: At the 9th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, winners included Guiding Light (Drama Series, Writing), Anthony Geary, Robin Strasser, David Lewis and Dorothy Lyman.

2009: Rachel Melvin aired for the final time as Chelsea Brady in DAYS OF OUR LIVES.
