The joke’s on Drew Carey and George Gray this April Fool’s Day on daytime television’s most-watched program when THE PRICE IS RIGHT models flip the script on the unsuspecting host and announcer, Monday, April 1 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon ET; 10:00-11:00 a.m. PT).
For the first time ever, Drew and George will learn firsthand how challenging modeling can be when they’re forced to make rapid costume changes and present such prizes as a trampoline, a hot tub, jet skis and, of course, a new car. Meanwhile, the models – Manuela, Amber, Gwendolyn and Rob – will be the ones to tell the contestants to “come on down,” welcome them to Contestants Row, guide them through the pricing games and introduce the fabulous prizes.
LET’S MAKE A DEAL celebrates April Fool’s Day for the first time with the first-ever “Zonk Redemption Show” on April 1 (check local listings on the CBS Television Network). The audience will be filled with previously Zonked Traders from the last four seasons who get a second chance to compete for cash and prizes. Also, host Wayne Brady will play an April Fool’s Day joke on the entire audience of Traders when he challenges them to a special deal with a group prize, if they choose correctly.
CBS Daytime has been #1 in the daypart for 26 consecutive years, featuring a lineup that is a balance of dramas, game shows and talk.
