This year another character will die during Christmas (spoilers ahead).According to MSN UK, Derek Branning (Jamie Foreman) will be killed off over Christmas, with rumors confirmed after photos of his funeral emerged on the soap's website.
The villain, who first appeared in the popular BBC soap in 1996, meets his end in an upcoming episode, although it hasn't yet been revealed how he dies.
And although a series of "explosive" storylines leading to his death are promised, the exact circumstances of his demise have remained tightly under wraps.
Derek's other brother Max (Jake Wood) - who is due to re-marry his ex Tanya over Christmas - is currently the favorite of bookies to be unmasked as his killer.
