CLUTCH Adds Jillian Clare, Tom Konkle and Katya Gardner; Will Shoot Episode in Los Angeles

Multi-award winning alt femme-fatale series CLUTCH is moving to the United States – at least for one episode. The Toronto-based production, led by creator/director Jonathan Robbins, is teaming up with Susan Bernhardt (EP/creator of the award winning teen soap MISS BEHAVE) and her production company Leonian Pictures, to produce the exciting Season Two finale in Los Angeles. But wait – there's more! The CLUTCH team has cast some familiar faces to guest star in the popular international series including Jillian Clare, Tom Konkle and Katya Gardner.

"The magnet of Jillian Clare is so strong that our entire production was pulled to her," says Robbins. "Now with Katya Gardner and Tom Konkle also joining the cast, we couldn't be more excited to bring Clutch to Los Angeles and work with these phenomenal talents."

Known in the web television world as the Miss behind her hit series Miss Behave (Best Lead Actress in a Drama – International Television Festival 2011), Jillian Clare also stars in The Kitchen (opposite Bryan Greenberg and Laura Prepon), a fun comedy feature currently on the festival circuit. On the small screen, she can be seen as mean girl Haley in the Emmy-nominated Victorious movie Freak the Freak Out continuously airing on Nickelodeon. Soap fans may also remember Clare as pre-teen Abby Deveraux, a role that won the young lady back to back Young Artist Awards during her stint on NBC's DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

No stranger to the big or small screen, Tom Konkle brings his vast experience to CLUTCH joining the cast as Darius, the Human Trafficker looking to make a buck off new girls Nicole (Jillian Clare) and Amy (Katya Gardner). One of the true internet pioneers, Konkle has starred and produced in numerous online hits including SAFETY GEEKS: SVI, THE GUILD, SOLO: THE SERIES and INVENTION WITH BRIAN FORBES.

Now residing in Los Angeles, Katya Gardner has made her mark as leading actress in Vancouver and Toronto with television credits including guest spots on X-FILES, 1-800-MISSING and THE OUTER LIMITS. She has worked with critically acclaimed directors Bruce MacDonald and Jerry Ciccoritti in the series, THE CITY, Mina Shum in BLISS, and Steve DiMarco in CHEATERS. Gardner has also appeared in numerous film projects including David Krae’s The House and alongside Rob Lowe in Stir of Echoes 2.
