1979: On THE EDGE OF NIGHT, Elliott couldn't resist Raven even though he was aghast she left the baby alone.



1990: On ANOTHER WORLD, gossip columnist Shana Barr tried to badger Sharlene and Josie for the scoop about her affair with Grant but Vicky intervened.

1991: On DAYS OF OUR LIVES, back from the dead Marlena reunited with Roman (Drake Hogestyn at the time) on the pier.


2006: On GENERAL HOSPITAL, Robin and Patrick bonded after he cut his hand and she helped bandage it.



2006: PASSIONS became the first daytime soap opera to make full episodes available for download and purchase from iTunes.

  1. Isn't that EON storyline amazing?

    I can't imagine a network, a producer, or any writer today who would dare to write their lead female as such a bad parent. Raven later atoned for her sins, and the departures of April and Draper made it necessary to move her from villain to lead, but that is one ballsy soap move - especially when they were courting moms not teens at the time?

    Also, speaking of Harding Lemay, I found humor in the different portrayals of Irna Phillips in the LeMay vs. Bell memoirs. Both make her seem like an absolute pain but Bell was obviously the good son to LeMay's bad son.
