1966: On DARK SHADOWS, Roger bravely entered the Drawing Room after Carolyn told him Burke was there.
1984: On GUIDING LIGHT, Claire (Susan Pratt) refused to let Josh give up on his rehab.
1991: Charlotte Ross aired for the final time as Eve Donovan on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. Eve left town with Frankie, played by Billy Warlock who also left the show at the time. Warlock returned for another run in 2005.
2006: On DAYS OF OUR LIVES, Steve rejected Kayla.
2000: On CORONATION STREET, Maria and Tyrone had an awkward conversation about the night before (when they did nothing but watch television).
2007: GENERAL HOSPITAL: NIGHT SHIFT, a nighttime spin-off of the daytime soap, premiered on SOAPnet.
2009: Indie Soap Award-winning EMPIRE premiered. The show, which now stars former daytime favorites Tina Sloan, Orlagh Cassidy, Yvonne Perry, Lauren B. 2010: ABC.com premiered the first "What If..." episode. The web series, directed by Frank Valentini, won a Daytime Emmy for ABC last year. Watch our interview with Valentini after the win below.
