Univision Ranks as the #2 Broadcast Network among Adults 18-34, Out-Delivering NBC and CBS for the Seventh Consecutive Week

- · Univision ranked as the #3 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 last week, out-delivering CBS (+27%) and NBC (+13%).
- · Univision was the #2 network during primetime last week among Adults 18-34, out-delivering FOX (+11%), NBC (+75%), and CBS (+133%).
* This marks the seventh consecutive week that Univision has delivered more Adults 18-34 viewers than NBC and CBS.
* For the twenty-first time in the past twenty-two weeks Univision has ranked #3 or higher among A18-34.
- · Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on every night last week among Adults 18-49. Univision also out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks on every night last week among Adults 18-34.
* Based on the current 2011/2012 season to date, Univision has out-performed NBC during broadcast prime 76% of the time (212 out of 280 days) among Adults 18-34 and 53% of the time (147 out of 280 days) among Adults 18-49.
* Additionally Univision has out-performed ABC on 79 nights, CBS on 68 nights, and FOX on 72 nights among Adults 18-49. Furthermore, among Adults 18-34, Univision has out-performed ABC on 165 nights, CBS on 194 nights, and FOX on 101 nights.
- · At 8pm, Univision’s novela “Refugio Para El Amor” (A Shelter for Love) helped Univision to rank as the #2 network for the hour among Adults 18-34. Compared to the prior week “Refugio Para El Amor” posted double digit audience increases among Total Viewers 2+ (+10%; 3.4 Million), Adults 18-49 (+15%; 1.6 Million), and Adults 18-34 (+21%; 908,000).
- · Univision’s 9pm novela “Abismo de Pasion” (Abyss of Passion) helped Univision to rank as the #2 network for the hour among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49. The novela increased its audience compared to the prior week and averaged 4.1 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+10%), 1.9 Million Adults 18-49 (+14%), and 1.1 Million Adults 18-34 (+19%).
- · During the 10 pm hour (based on M-F), Univision aired “La Que No Podia Amar” (The One Who Couldn’t Love). Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 for the hour, out-delivering NBC and CBS in both demographics. The novela built its audience by double digit percentages compared to the prior week, averaging 4.6 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+16%), 2.3 Million Adults 18-49 (+17%), and 1.2 Million Adults 18-34 (+19%).
- · Univision kicked off the week as the #4 network among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS in both demographics. Univision’s entire primetime lineup also ranked among the top 10 programs Monday night among Adults 18-34 and top 15 programs among Adults 18-49.
- · On Tuesday night Univision maintained its #4 rank among Adults 18-49 and rose to the #3 position among Adults 18-34. Out-delivering CBS for the second consecutive night this week, Univision’s entire primetime lineup also ranked among the top 15 programs among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.
- · On Wednesday night Univision rose to #2 position among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and NBC in both demographics. Univision’s entire primetime lineup also ranked among the top 5 programs among Adults 18-34 and top 10 programs among Adults 18-49.
- · On Thursday night Univision maintained its position as the #2 network among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS, FOX, and NBC. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
- · As the #1 network on Friday night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 3 programs for the night.
* In the current season Univision has been the #1 Network on Friday nights 88% of the time (35 out of 40 weeks) among Adults 18-34 more than any other broadcast network.
