1979: On THE EDGE OF NIGHT, Miles began to uncover the true identity of Deborah's mysterious neighbor, Martha Cory. Watch the episode below.





1982: Helene Udy debuted as Frannie on AS THE WORLD TURNS, just in time for Frannie's birthday. Elsewhere David and Ellen were remarried and Dee was suspected in the "death" of John Dixon. Watch the entire episode here.

1982: On ANOTHER WORLD, it's a happy Christmas in Bay City. Aunt Liz sings!



1987: For its closing, the AS THE WORLD TURNS cast sang "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."



1999: THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS added actor names to its opening theme sequence.

2002: Paul Rauch's last episode as executive producer of GUIDING LIGHT aired.

  1. Oh, how I loved me some Edge of Night! I was so angry when they canceled it. ABC wanted to get rid of any non-ABC-produced soaps, it Edge was a Proctor & Gamble production.

    I wish P&G would get back into TV production. Maybe they would have partnered with Prospect Park to resume AMC and OLTL. :^(
