Mom's Life Saved By Daughter, Friend With CPR Learned Watching GREY'S ANATOMY

From the power of television file, Kandace Seyferth and her daughter, Madisyn Kestell, watch ABC primetime soap GREY'S ANATOMY every Thursday night. And lucky for Kandace they do!

As she lay at the bottom of the stairs unresponsive and unable to breathe because of a severe asthma attack, her 10-year-old daughter knew she had to act fast to help save her mom's life.

"Me and my mom watch the show every Thursday, and I learned it from there," said Madisyn, who performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on her mom while Katelynn, who is 12, pounded on her chest.

Within four minutes of the 911 call, Sheboygan Fire Department personnel arrived to take her to Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.

"They (the firefighters and paramedics) pretty much said if Maddie didn't do — remain calm and call 911 and do what she did — I wouldn't even be here to talk about it," Seyferth said on Wednesday.
