SHAKE-UP: Lisa De Cazotte Replaces Noel Maxam as DAYS OF OUR LIVES Co-Executive Producer

Lisa De Cazotte has replaced Noel Maxam as co-executive producer of DAYS OF OUR LIVES effective immediately according to a report by soapoperadigest.com. Remaining co-executive producer Greg Meng says of the change, “Ken Corday is excited to have Lisa join the DAYS OF OUR LIVES family."

What do you think of the change? Good for the show? Bad? Not sure?

  1. Well if they try to turn "Days of our Lives" back into the "Passions" wannabe that James E. Reilly tried to make it, then it's bad. Beyond that, who knows? It's weird. Corday acts like he runs the show but then he hires these people that supposedly run the show into the ground, and then every time the show starts to hit bottom he comes back and "reboots" it. If he was running the show like he says he is, then it shouldn't matter who else is producing.

  2. I'm baffled and wondering if this could be Sony dictated and not Corday. I'm not familiar with her as an EP but she worked on "traditional" soaps. Maybe budget or maybe Sony could be ready to send Noel to Y&R...he did start there and Y&R is a hot mess...sigh...I miss my lone CBS soap, but I've turned it off over 3months ago. MAB and writing staff needs to go...Off With Their Heads!!
