PREVIEW: CW's Monday Night Soaps GOSSIP GIRL & HART OF DIXIE

GOSSIP GIRL is back with an all new episode, "Beauty and the Feast," on Monday, October 3 at 8 p.m. on The CW.

Nate (Chace Crawford) reconnects unexpectedly with Diana (Elizabeth Hurley), who offers him an exciting opportunity. Serena (Blake Lively) forces Charlie (Kaylee DeFer) to decide which world she wants to embrace. Dan (Penn Badgley) seeks out Chuck's (Ed Westwick) help to stop the publication of his book, but discovers it is Chuck who needs the help.

Blair's (Leighton Meester) future sister-in-law, Beatrice (guest star Roxane Mesquida), arrives from Monaco, but her motives with Blair may be more than just to get acquainted. Matthew Settle also stars.

Mark Piznarski directed the episode written by co-executive producer Sara Goodma.

The CW’s new series HART OF DIXIE also airs an all new episode, "Parades & Pariahs," at 9 p.m. ET.

Hoping it might help the residents of BlueBell accept her as one of their own, Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson) agrees to join Mayor Lavon Hayes (Cress Williams) on his float during the Founder's Day Parade, but, unfortunately, accidentally crashing the float doesn't exactly help Zoe win over Lemon Breeland (Jaime King) and the residents of BlueBell.

To make matters worse, the town's golden boy, George Tucker (Scott Porter), informs Zoe that contractually she needs to bring in thirty percent of the business or Dr. Brick Breeland (Tim Matheson) will have the option to buy out her half of the medical practice. Wilson Bethel also stars.

Jason Ensler directed the episode written by creator and executive producer Leila Gerstein.

The series stars Rachel Bilson as Dr. Zoe Hart, Jaime King as Lemon Breeland, Wilson Bethel as Wade Kinsella, Cress Williams as Lavon Hayes, McKaley Miller as Rose and Scott Porter as George Tucker.
