Cameron Mathison (Ryan Lavery) and Lindsay Hartley (Dr. Cara Castillo Martin) have agreed to deals to join the company’s new production of ALL MY CHILDREN. This marks the first confirmation of cast members since Prospect Park began planning for the production to live on the new online network beyond its final televised date on ABC this week.
Prospect Park is expected to announce the start date of production in the coming weeks. AMC will end its run on ABC this Friday.
“I have been given permission to announce that I and others from ALL MY CHILDREN have been approached by the company, Prospect Park, who bought AMC with the intention to move it online,” Mathison said last week on GOOD MORNING AMERICA. “Just as soaps were very pivotal in the transition from radio to television, they’ll be right in the thick of things again in the transition from television to the internet.”
Prospect Park is still in the process of closing a deal for the actors with American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, which will enable the studio to sell a second window of the soaps to a cable network.

HOORAY!!! This is a good start!
ReplyDeleteIt also means that Cameron won't take over for Regis.
Good for Cameron & Lindsay--Yay!:-)
ReplyDeleteVery excited to see that they are moving forward! Honestly, they don't need Susan. She left the show before and it survived without her.
ReplyDeleteWahoo! I can't wait until it comes online. I hope all the other actors come over too!
ReplyDeleteI can hardly wait until it is back on. I remember watching the very first episode of All My Children. I cannot imagine not having that WONDERFUL program in my life. I sincerely hope all of the cast will agree to sign on with Prospect Park and...thank you, thank you, thank you Prospect Park! You have no idea how much this means to me!
