Thursday Night Ratings: GREY'S ANATOMY, PRIVATE PRACTICE, VAMPIRE DIARIES, SECRET CIRCLE

In preliminary numbers from Thursday night, GREY'S ANATOMY dropped to a 3.5 adults 18-49 rating, down 15% from last week's 2 hour premiere. The PRIVATE PRACTICE season premiere drew a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating, down 15% from last Fall's premiere.

CW's THE VAMPIRE DIARIES rose to a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating, up 8% from last week. THE SECRET CIRCLE's 0.9 adults 18-49 rating was even with last week.
