WilleyWorld play and party raises thousands for Friendship House
More than $5,500 was raised for Ottawa's Friendship House during a cast celebration party following Sunday's matinee performance of "Plaza Suite," the third production helmed by long-time friends and Ottawa natives Kim "Howard" Johnson and Walt Willey of ALL MY CHILDREN fame.

Asked what may hit the stage next year, Willey and Johnson said they are currently writing a one-man show of particular historical significance to the area. Johnson was tight-lipped on the exact subject of the original play, but did say Willey would star and he would direct "if everything works out in the writing stage."

Kim Delaney would return to ALL MY CHILDREN
"I hate it! I hate it!" Delaney told Soaps In Depth last week at the TV Critic's press tour about AMC ending its ABC run. "I'd go back now and do a cameo [if I could]."

Ofcom clears EASTENDERS despite 24,000 complaints‎
The television watchdog said that the harrowing plot - which saw grieving mum Ronnie Branning swap her dead son James with Kat Moon's healthy child Tommy - had not broken broadcasting regulations.

More than 24,000 viewers complained about the grim scenes - broadcast on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day - with 1,044 to Ofcom and 23,000 to the BBC.

Drake, aka former DEGRASSI star Aubrey Graham), throws in soap reference on new title track
On “Headlines,” he weaves his sleepy raps around string lines for a fairly static, but oddly compelling, tune. He made us laugh with this rhyme: “Listen to you expressin’ all these feelings, soap opera rappers, all these n****** sound like ‘All My Children. if that’s who you think is coming about to make a killing, i guess it really is me, myself and all my millions.”
