1905: Crossover soap actor Geoffrey Lumb, who took the character of Mitchell Dru to multiple soaps in the 1960s, was born. He died in 1990.
1922: Late actress Lois Kibbee, best known for her role as Geraldine on THE EDGE OF NIGHT, was born. Kibbee also played roles on SOMERSET, SEARCH FOR TOMORROW and ONE LIFE TO LIVE. She even appeared in the movie Caddyshack. She died October 18, 1993, from a brain tumor.
2005: The character of Darcy Tyler left NEIGHBOURS after five years.
