PREVIEW: ABC Family Tuesday Night Soaps PRETTY LITTLE LIARS & THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING

The Liars are ill at ease when they each have to confront complicated matters in “Surface Tension,” an all new episode of ABC Family’s hit original series, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, premiering Tuesday, July 26th (8:00 – 9:00 p.m. ET/PT).

Its moving day for Emily, and with a new place to call home, she is feeling more like a guest than part of the family. Hanna is also feeling uneasy, but for her it is in regard to Caleb’s continued shady “business” dealings and his nonchalant attitude about it. And when Toby makes a surprising discovery, Spencer is thrown for a loop by the find and her father’s reaction to it.

With the girls already on edge, could they be sitting targets for “A’s” next move? Or does “A” have bigger plans for the four and is just making them wait?

Meanwhile, Aria is put in a tricky position when both Ezra and Jason are invited to the Montgomery dinner party and vie for her attention when the soiree goes awry.

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS is produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television and is executive produced by I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick and Leslie Morgenstein. The series stars Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Holly Marie Combs, Lucy Hale, Ian Harding, Laura Leighton, Chad Lowe, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse.

Unfortunately for Chloe, The Order isn’t her only mortal enemy; there are many others who would like nothing more than to see her dead. Will this newfound enemy take another life from Chloe King? Find out in an all-new episode of THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING, premiering Tuesday, July 26th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.

Compassionate to the needs of others, Chloe is unable to turn her back on Kai, a young man who asks Chloe for help in reuniting with his family. Although she eventually learns that Kai is a huge threat to the Mai’s safety, Chloe insists on helping him return home. Accompanied by Alek, Jasmine, Paul and Amy, a determined Chloe begins the dangerous journey into Jackal territory. Alek and Jasmine’s worst fears are realized when Chloe’s mission takes a terrible turn and one Mai could be lost forever.

Meanwhile, even though it has been ten years since Chloe’s father vanished, Meredith still feels guilty about dating Frank. In an attempt to move on with their lives, Meredith asks Chloe if she is ok with declaring her father dead, unaware that the two have been in contact.

THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING is executive-produced by Dan Berendsen and John Ziffren with Alloy Entertainment’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo. The drama is based on the book series “The Nine Lives of Chloe King” by Liz Braswell.

The series stars Skyler Samuels as Chloe King; Amy Pietz as Meredith King; Grey Damon as Brian; Grace Phipps as Amy; Benjamin Stone as Alek; Alyssa Diaz as Jasmine; and Ki Hong Lee as Paul.
