1942: CLARA, LU, AND EM, radio's first soap opera in 1930, moved to CBS, airing for 15 minutes three days a week at 11 a.m.

1981: AS THE WORLD TURNS returned to the 1:30 p.m. ET timeslot where it would remain until March 23, 1987, the day THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL debuted.
