The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) will honor Oprah Winfrey with the Crystal Pillar Award for changing the face of daytime television, while Peter Marshall and Vanna White (WHEEL OF FORTUNE) will present the Lifetime Achievement Award to Pat Sajak and Alex Trebek.
Additional presenters include Don Diamont (THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL), Daniel Goddard (THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS), Melissa Archer (ONE LIFE TO LIVE), Galen Gering (DAYS OF OUR LIVES), Tuc Watkins (ONE LIFE TO LIVE), Darnell Williams (ALL MY CHILDREN) and Montel Williams.
Associated Television International (ATI) will produce the show with ATI President and Emmy Award-winning producer David McKenzie as executive producer, along with Al Schwartz and Jim Romanovich. Chris Donovan will serve as director and Ken Shapiro as writer.
The Daytime Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production. THE 38TH ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY® AWARDS is a presentation of NATAS in cooperation with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
