1956: When mother Mattie Lane's (BETTY GARDE) $20 dissappears from Mattie's sewing machine on THE EDGE OF NIGHT, tension arises between Sarah (Teal Ames) and Mike (John Larkin) since both Mike and Sarah, especially Mike, suspects Jack (Don Hastings), Mattie's youngest son and Sarah's wannabe bad brother, as the culprit.
