Friday night, May 21, is a great night for soap fans in the New York City area. For those not attending We Love Soaps Weekend, there is another wonderful event happening to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The Second Annual Angels for Hope Gala will be taking place from 7-11 p.m. at the Pearl River Hilton in Pearl River, New York. The event will feature a night of fine dining, cocktails and dancing with a unique live and silent auction. Mix and mingle at the bar, enjoy the evening’s entertainment and bid high at the live and silent auctions. One of the auctions is a walk-on role on GENERAL HOSPITAL which will be escorted by Steve Burton.
This event will be attended by stars from Daytime Television and Broadway, including AS THE WORLD TURNS cast members Kelley and Jon Hensley, Michael Park and longtime St. Jude supporter and Emmy-award winning actress Martha Byrne.
