CLASSIC CLIPS: Larry Bryggman

Larry Bryggman came in at #3 on the 50 Greatest Soap Actors of All Time list. Here are some classic clips of Bryggman's work on AS THE WORLD TURNS.

1975: A classic John and Bob promo.
1981: After Lucy tells John she's been working on a book about him, John falls down the stairs during an argument with Margo.

1984: Barbara and John talk about Dusty's future.
1985: John throws a New Year's Eve party.

1985: John tells Dusty he's going to need an operation.
1987: John is thinking about getting custody of Andy while Lucinda worries about Lily.

1997: After the church fire, John gets bad news about Barbara and the baby.
I GOT YOU BABE: John and Lisa duet on the Sonny and Cher classic.

1999: John learns Parker is not his son.
2003: Camille demands respect from John.











BONUS:

  3. I know a lot of people loved the Hogan Sheffer era, but the Church Fire was the last time that ATWT was really ATWT, the last time Oakdale was a real community. I always thought it was a shame that they didn't make Addie Walsh permanent head writer. And at the heart of that storyline was the death of Baby Johnny. Just the thought of Larry Bryggman in that chair with Baby Johnny still makes me cry.
