Chilean Soap Operas Return With Big Changes
Despite the earthquake, the ever popular Chilean soap operas returned this week, aiming to please its usually large audience. The excitement began Monday with the return of the popular ChilevisiĆ³n soap opera MUJERES DE LUJO and the premiere of its new soap opera, FEROZ.

But despite having hardly started, some shows have already changed their scripts. Before the Feb. 27 quake hit Chile, it was written in the plot of CONDE VROLOK for a huge earthquake to wreak havoc in the town of Santa Barbara. In MUJERES DE LUJO, an earthquake was supposed to destroy the Club Esmeralda. But since the devastating quake late last month, both have changed their scripts. Chilevision’s “Mujeres de Lujo” has decided to eliminate the earthquake scenes.

Nathaniel Marston comments on the impact of his court case
Marston admits now he slugged a cop who tried to break up the melee. But initial police accounts that he attacked a small crowd of cabbies and officers in a coke-fueled frenzy led to his firing from the popular soap, and made it tough to get new work, he told The Post today.

"I couldn't get a job as a dishwasher because I was all over The Post," he said, laughing. Marston completed three months of court-mandated anger management as part of his deal, he said.

Bregman says, "Reba wanted to have friends and family in the shoot and then asked if Christian would join me. I got him to do it, and it was fun. We were the mother and father of the bride, who was played by their son's real-life girlfriend. It was sweet."
