  2. I'm gonna have to be the voice of dissent here, because the VTeam are getting too much praise for, basically, screwing up over and over. How is it possible that they are JUST beginning to figure out how many servers they were gonna need to handle the load of the Venice fans every Friday? This reeks of unprofessionalism and it's not right, not after they accepted people's money for watching the show (on a timely manner, one would assume).

I'm already ticked off that the sites heavily promotes the Gina/Ani/Lara triangle, while the character bios hint that Gina/Tracy will be one of the core couples of the show (why isn't Leslie Kay on any of the promo shots?)

This feels like they're heavily riding the Otalia coattails, while planning on giving us whatever THEY think we SHOULD want, without putting much thought into key aspects like the website (an important issue when yiu're dealing with a webseries)

Someone tell Crystal Chappell fast about how she's screwing up the pooch, because I do want the show to be a hit, but they need to take the project (and their fans) seriously.

  3. That teaser really has me interested in the side stories with the characters of Alan, Guya and Tina Sloan's character. I am also looking forward to the crazy quad looking realationship with the four girls. I have seen one episode and two teasers and thats enough to get my money.

Stella, I respect all of your opinions and agree with some. But I seem to remember Leslie had other obligations on the day they did the promo shots. That could be the reason we see more Gina/Ani/Lara on the site. Also, the Venice Team has been working on the server issue the whole time. But everytime they have it good they introduce something new causing more traffic. I am not a technical person so who knows if it all could have been avoided. The website is my biggest concern.

But overall I think Team Venice has done a great job pretty much learning as they go. Its been great to watch it all happen, mistakes and all.

  4. I'm not a subscriber, but someone needs to tell them to rethink the black character bios. The words "sassy" and "full of life" conjure images of the Hattie McDaniel/Butterfly McQueen maids of yore. Of course, if those are going to be the main characteristics of the black characters I guess they've done me a favor because I'd rather not watch it.

  5. They also wrote somewhere that they're trying to integrate the gay "lifestyle" along with straight folks. You would think that Kimmy would've mentioned that refering to gay people as having a "lifestyle" is a big no no. Then again, she should've mentioned that lesbian women like having sex naked and french kissing, just as straight folks do ;)
