GUIDING LIGHT Fans Visit Peapack

Fans of GUIDING LIGHT are dealing with grief of losing this iconic soap in various ways. Some are going to Peapack, New Jersey, where part of the show is taped, and visiting the familiar sights around town. In this photo a group of GUIDING LIGHT fans visited Peapack last week and posed with Zack Conroy (James), Michael O'Leary (Rick) and Grant Aleksander (Phillip).

  1. There's direct evidence of the demographic that CBS is kissing off with the cancellation of Guiding Light.

Anybody think "Let's Make a Deal" is going to attract that much household spending power? Doubt it.

  2. I hope CBS drops to 3rd place!! I hate that they cancelled GL for the cheaper Game show. yes the world needs more game shows

  3. The fact is that CBS just doesn't care - and neither do the other networks. The key phrase is "cheaper to produce" and unfortunately, cheap game, judge and talk shows are likely all we will be left with at some point soon.

  4. The majority of that group is from Big Purple Dreams who came out to support GL. We're the masses of people watching that never got counted or don't ever seem to count.

All the actors and production crew of GL were just wonderful. The town of Peapack is a lovely place and we had an excellent experience with all.
