News Round-up: Manhattanites, GL Music, Continental

DVD Dish: The Groovy Gay World of Manhattanites
Deep Dish reviews Manhattanites: "Manhattanites might be a low-budget film, but it certainly delivers high drama. Although I was surprised by the cliffhanger at the end, any drama worth its weight in soap has to have such a hair-raising finale."

GUIDING LIGHT PROJECT: I've Heard That Song Before
Jennifer Kathleen Gibbons takes a look back at memorable songs used on GUIDING LIGHT in the eighties.

Deep Soap: Positive Social Interaction
Sara Bibel writes: "As I watched Friday’s episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL, I felt my facial muscles contract in an unfamiliar way. Could it be? Yes. Doom and gloom GH actually put a smile on my face. DirecTV Flies Continental
Continental Airlines announced Monday that it has installed DirecTV’s satellite service on 15 of its domestic jets, will give passengers the choice of 77 live channels, and plans to install the service on over 200 planes by the end of 2010.

According to unnamed sources close to GOSSIP's production, executives at the retailer expressed concern over some of the show’s more risqué elements.
