Nicholas Rodriguez to spell Demond Green in Off-Broadway's "Toxic Avenger"
Nicholas Rodriguez, who recently joined ABC's One Life to Live as Nick, will take over the roles usually played by Drama Desk nominee Demond Green in "The Toxic Avenger" during the latter's scheduled break from the show, July 1-19.

EASTENDERS actor Phil Daniels 'glad to have been killed off'
Speaking of his time with the soap, Daniels (ex-Kevin) told The Mirror: "Characters like mine, who start off happy-go-lucky, can't succeed because EastEnders doesn't really 'do' light comedy. They've got nowhere to go. Other soaps are good at comedy but EastEnders is too serious and arguably a bit worthy. Inevitably, Kevin ended up miserable, in a storyline dead-end. The only thing they could do in the end was kill him off."

OTALIA: Go Out on A Limb, or Throw in the Towel?
Lana M. Nieves writes: "Is this a story about two women who are deadly afraid of having their secret found out, and terrified about acting on their feelings and moving forward? Or is it a story about two women who can comfortably and confidently huddle together in a very public place, share long, lingering stares and smiles, and a level of face-touching and caressing that is reserved for people in love, without giving a damn what onlookers might think? It cannot be both."
